Our team sought to translate the significance of this historic change into animated images and light, crafting a visual narrative that guided the audience toward the pivotal moment of the canton switch. Through textures, colors, and movement, we aimed to enhance the architecture of the Town Hall while telling a story rooted in identity, collective memory, and shared emotion.
Designed as a tribute to Moutier’s history, democratic journey, and the determination of its inhabitants, the spectacle balanced solemnity with celebration. Presented just before the twelve strokes of midnight, it accompanied the New Year’s festivities, symbolically bridging past and future in a single luminous moment.
Following its New Year’s Eve premiere, the creation was presented again on January 2 and 3, with screenings every 30 minutes between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm, allowing a wider audience to experience this landmark visual event.
Through this project, Lumen Créations is proud to have supported the city of Moutier during such a defining chapter of its history, transforming an emblematic façade into a canvas for emotion, remembrance, and celebration.
